The Lightning Football team completed a 5 day camp on July 12, 2019.  Over 100 athletes ranging from incoming 9th graders to rising seniors participated in the camp.  During the camp players worked on both individual technique and schemes specific to Lightning football.  QB coach Jamey Wagner stated, "This week was so valuable.  Players have the opportunity to work on so many things that will help us in August when we start practice.  From defense, to offense, to special teams - it is a tremendous learning experience at all age levels.  The younger players that were here will find themselves ahead of those that did not attend.  It is a great springboard into the season."  At the conclusion of Friday's camp the ELTC put on a BBQ for all the participants.  A special thank you to all of the volunteers that made the event possible.  Now the focus for the Lightning continues to be the work necessary in the weight room until the start of practice on August 12.
